Has anyone gotten the Alumni AND Regents scholarships in the past? I’m wondering if I should even submit my alumni app if they won’t consider it now that I got regents
This may have been answered but where on the portal do I check to see if they have received my transcripts?
@AponteV If you go down to “College Transcripts” on the main page of your MyUCLA account, there should be the colleges you listed and on the left there should be a check indicating that they have received it.
@pugzandhugz I forgot that I haven’t SIR’d yet, would it still show me if they received it or should I just call in?
@AponteV You must SIR in order to see it. Transcripts should have also been sent after SIR’ing but you can call to confirm, not sure they would review it if you haven’t SIRed yet…
Anyone know how difficult it is it transfer majors? I’m a political science major and wanna switch over to Business Economics…

For the regent’s everyone gets $2000, thats the baseline. If you demonstrate extra financial need, then they’ll cover the remaining costs. In total, I’m getting about $9000. Check your financial award letter more closely.
@calivalleyyy they are two separate scholarships. I didn’t get anything on top of the regentd baseline because of my FAFSA EFC and the fact that my parents make “too much”. I was wondering if the two scholarships would be possible to get together
@GirlPower1 Oh I see! While I feel it’s highly unlikely, you should call, ask and give it to try!
You can get more info on TSP at the AAP event; I believe the application opens up that day at 5PM.
@GirlPower1 I’m pretty sure the scholarships are separate, so yeah, it’s possible to get both together. Good luck! I presume you’re set on UCLA.

Hi, does anyone know if we should only include things in our application for the Alumni Scholarship that we are currently doing, or is it okay to put things in from high-school or that we stopped doing a few months ago? Thanks!
