@Burdened @solostish yea only a 4 will count… But I mean I didn’t want to ruin my 1 year transfer (I have a crap load of Ap) but yea idk haha thanks for answers though!
@kevinl1997 Yes, you’re in a unique position but since you’ve already taken calculus 2 and are enrolled in multivariate, they can’t expect you to go back and take a lower level math class. Make sure Calculus 1 is posted on your community college’s transcript.
If Calc 1 is listed as required, they’ll probably require that you take it. Not completing prereqs is grounds for denial.
Email them, though, to be sure. If it’s not listed as required, then maybe you’re okay.
Your calc 1 should be covered as math is a validation subject and you passed calc 2. It’s noted somewhere on their validation matrix that calc 2 validates calc 1.
Thanks for the answers guys! I’ll definitely give them a call and see what’s up, I don’t mind retaking Calc 1 at UCLA but I fear being rejected for that
I don’t know how good my chances are for UCLA…

I have been volunteering in the hospital for the past year, and I have a full time job in the healthcare. Got 22K in grants, scholarships and financial aid from UCSB.
How good are my chances of getting in UCLA? I was also thinking, if I get in will I get the same scholarships and aid in UCLA or is it different in every school?
@astromeri
You’ll most likely get in.
I am dying to see what this thread will look like on April 22nd, 2016. It will be like the Purge, I’m sure.
heey guys, i stopped working at my part time job in january and I just thought about it now if i should update this on tau or somehow notify UC’s about it. do you think if it matters to update it or email them now?
@grimmghost or we are all so dead by that point in the semester it’s everyone having mental breakdowns
@screencap1 I don’t think it’s necessary to update that. It doesn’t seem like something they’re going to spend much time on.
I am have a really really hard time concentrating. Admissions is pretty much all I can think about other than school work. 8-X
Does everyone else’s Uc application status page just say, date forwarded and the campuses selected?
I think I kind of took a long shot applying to UCLA now

I have a feeling that they will deny me because I applied as two different majors to the UCs (UCB & UCLA: Philosophy) (UCI, UCSB, UCR: Psychology) Oh well now I just have to wait to see what happens April 22nd [-O<
is their review process actually holistic?
@“Danny Soprano” Yes, incredibly holistic.
So people with bad gpas for the respective majors have a chance, if the have great EC’s and a great Personal Statement.
@grimmghost where did the april 22nd date come from???
@hopetoachieve12 Generally, UCLA releases the Friday before Berkeley, and Berkeley is on the 29th. Berkeley doesn’t play games, they just tell you when it’ll be.
