@melon12312 I have a 4.0 in chem eng but I didn’t get an email…
3.89 here for business econ. I didn’t get anything.
@ChemE4life Doubt they check pre-req and all, but do you have all pre-reqs done for UCLA? Like the matlab and C++.
Hey guys, I have a question. In order to get invited for applying the regents scholarship, do I need to submit FAFSA first?
Didn’t get the invite =((
Didn’t get the email 4.0 w/ all pre reqs completed
I have c++ but no MATLAB. Also don’t have modern physics… Maybe that’s why @melon12321
If you’re on spring break and/or immensely bored with your anxiety, look up the 2015 thread around April 17th- it was the day decisions were coming in. What a muse.

You’re welcome.
4.0 Pre-Econ major, all pre-reqs completed and a shitload of EC’s, didn’t get invited. Kind of bummed.
Got UCI’s.
Edit: Anybody know if Cal’s Regents works the same?
@lostinthought6 Same here, 3.84 PSB major. Regents isn’t indicative of an acceptance or rejection so no harm done yet- aside from emotional.
@lostinthought6 I feel you.
4.0, got the regents email!
@lostinthought6
Same-- Business econ major, 4.00 (with all pre-reqs done). No email
Silently hoping that they haven’t finished sending out all of them (which is delusional, but hey, I can dream)
3.92 Golbal studies, Received a regents email: does CAL send one too or this a UCLA thing?
@Edirol I am missing Calc 1 prerequisite, however I did get a 3 on the Calculus BC test which excuses Calc 1 at OTHER UCs but not UCLA but I did get an A in Calc 2 and 3… The reason I skipped it was because I’m a one year transfer and I couldn’t afford to take that class and complete in one year
I got the regents invite but I wasn’t expecting it at all!! I applied with a 3.93 GPA and pre-psychology major.
Is it really only 600 people that get invited? It seems like a lot of people got it.
Does anyone know when the regents invitation came out last year?
Is my chance of getting invited for applying the regents scholarship slim? I am an international student from Japan with 4.0 gpa, but didn’t submit fafsa. I am a U19 representative of Japan national soccer team.
Lol @grimmghost I’ve gone through that thread, it’s like watching a movie. That’s going to be us very soon :-SS
Got the regents email as a one year transfer w a 4.0. Honestly, it was probably my essays that did it. I spent months and months on them.
From what y’all have seen, what’s the acceptance rate for Regents Candidates? I’m applying for a non-impacted major—Poli Sci.
