does anyone have a link to the UCSD fall 2016 thread? has it been made yet?
@LuckyName Thank you! I’ll just try my best and see what’ll happen )):
@themightybicycle has yet to be made
@goldencub we need to get on that.
Also guys, t-6 hours until apps open up loooool
@themightybicycle oh really?! hyperventilates
@goldencub LOL SAME.

“An unexpected error has occurred. If you received this error while filling out your UC admission application, please log back in using the link below.”
I filled out a bunch of information and then this happened. Tons of people are probably working on it haha. I’ll wait.
@goldencub I JUST GOT THE SAME ERROR AHAHA. didn’t know there were so many of us out there creating accounts at once :-h
LOL I got the same error…
Not a transfer, but I wanted to point out that I got the same error ^^. I was able to fill all the way up until my SSN before I got the error. As a note, I actually created this account a few months ago but I wasn’t able to start the application until today… did the same thing happen for anybody else?
@ComputerAge That just now happened to me. When I tried to log back in, it took me back to the same error page.
I left a voicemail for their online support line, their offices open Monday at 10am PST. I’ll post any updates, but this seems to be a systemwide issue.
Same here, once I hit the SSN I received the error.
Some admission facts, for those who are anxious:
In 2014, 46% of transfer students with a GPA between 3.6 and 4.0 were accepted into UCLA. 21% of students between 3.20 and 3.59 that applied were accepted into UCLA.
In 2014, 82% of transfer students with a GPA between 3.6 and 4.0 were accepted university wide. 73% of students between 3.20 and 3.59 were accepted university wide.
These are based off all source schools. If you are from a CCC, the numbers increase slightly.

Still getting that error…
I don’t think it’s going to be back up until Monday at least.
Just happened to me as well.
Hello! First time posting, was hoping someone could chance me! Interested mainly in Cal and UCLA. Applying as a junior from a CA community college.
Major: German Studies
GPA: 3.51
Estimated GPA after Fall: 3.59
Prereqs done
IGETC will be met at the end of Fall 2015
Will be getting German certificate and AA Degree at the end of Fall, also picking up Philosophy AA Degree in Spring 2016
ECs: 3 year volunteer at German Cultural Society, 1 year volunteer at French cultural society, Local Philosophy Club Founder, Associated Students volunteer, French Club Pres.& Sec., Volunteer Usher, Father Joe’s Volunteer, Community Health Care volunteer
Might tutor in English or German at my college this year
Also, have a German diploma from the German Agency for Schools Abroad & attended a German Immersion school in CA for elementary and middle school–I’m not a native German speaker, but I’m wondering if I can be turned down for having too much of a background in German?
@CalRadical
I posted in response to the Berkeley thread, but again I think you got it!
@CalRadical
Your GPA is competitive for that major, and I don’t think UCLA will have a problem with your background.
The app is back up!
