I have a cousin who works at Berkeley who asked a friend who works at ucla and they said that it is extremely hard to get into comms since we are competing against current ucla students and they get first priority. I don’t want to scare you all but I’m just giving inform straight from the source
She said because my major changed I’m pretty much accepted under my second choice.

@tedopotato12 that is true. It happened last year as well. They wouldn’t go through the trouble of switching your major on your application I you didn’t get accepted.

When I checked the portal on my phone and saw my major change, my heart dropped a little…I couldn’t help it…the tears came out. I just finished working out and the lady next to me didn’t know what to do lmao.

I wish I could post screenshots of a conversation with the info I have from my cousin’s ucla source…for those being admitted to their second major it will make you feel a lot better about it.

I’m already at annoyed at the people who are accepted who say that those who are rejected aren’t defined by the college like WARNING we know! Idk if I’m going to get in but if I don’t and I see that I will scream and curse at you through my screen (I won’t type anything cuz I’m still proud and happy for you) but I will internally curse you out!

Really? I am a Comm major, doubtful of getting in because of these odds. GPA, statements, and ECs are great, but aren’t everyone’s?
Sucks. I have a midterm at 5pm so I won’t be able to follow this thread when decisions come out
