I have been lurking on this page for a while and just wanted to wish everyone good luck… Regardless of if you get in or not, you guys are all intelligent people and will have a great college experience, even if its not at UCLA. Also, thank you for the hella active people on this thread for all information you shared. You answered every question I could have possibly asked

Just a friendly heads-up, UC Davis has posted their decisions
I have my Jameson ready to celebrate admissions and I have it in case drown my sorrow if I’m rejected. Feelsbadman
lol @thatjamesonguy, I have two bottles of wine on the counter.
The site is down with this message when I logged in:
The Admission Decision site is currently unavailable. We expect to be back up later this evening.
Sincerely,
UCLA Undergraduate Admission
@Edirol if it’s boxed wine make sure to slap the bag. Lol
Are decisions coming out at 5 or 6? The fact that I am three hours ahead is making the wait even more unbearable :-SS
Good luck to all. Remember, you’re awesome regardless of what that decision is.
@slowmar that’s something someone who knows they’ll get in would say. Lol
Waitlisted at Davis? I’m going to take it as a bad omen. I’m an OOS applicant, pretty sure I won’t get into UCLA
@marchon doesn’t look good for you… Where else you apply to?
@marchon I’m OOS as well so I’m a little worried. What’s your major and GPA?
I was wait-listed at Davis.
I got accepted into Davis, but I live 30 mins away… I want to get away to SoCal.
@intjer, got into a few privates in LA. UCLA is the only one I would go to over the schools I’m still waiting on
Kinda last minute here lol but… can anyone tell me if I am considered out of state or in state? I’m from CA but went to a private college in NY after high school for two years. My parents could no longer afford tuition so I moved back home to CA last year (as of May of 2015) and have worked for the year. I took one course at a community college here last fall - I am near the credit limit so I couldn’t really take more if I understand correctly. So does anyone know if I am considered an OOS student? I know it doesn’t really matter at this point but I’m just curious. Thanks! Good luck guys
@Tranzfur My best guess would be where you’re transferring from i.e. most recent school records. Hope that helps.
with L2 as your current status and have lived for over a year in CA, you will DEFINITELY be considered as a resident, so don’t worry!!!
@Tranzfur yeah if you’re from California and your parents live here, and on top of that, you’ve been back here for a year, that means you’re a ca resident.
Whoo! So it would be updated at 5 pm today promptly? Once for all?
