((((:**
good luck guys
I’m an engineering applicant. I heard that engineering is much harder to get in than CAS and I’m a junior transfer, not sophomore, so probably I don’t have much chance… but I’m still super anxious now. Good luck everyone!
@ibtes96 I’m engineering as well, but for sophomore. Good luck to you!
I’m also a Junior transfer (CAS). Does anyone know if/how class year affects the transfer decision?
@matthewjohnlim Penn prefers sophomore transfers.
Did anyone here apply to the NETS program? It’s pretty small so its probably only a handful of people that applied, but just curious.
@matthewjohnlim They prefer sophomores but there were like 40 junior transfer this year I think
Do you have any idea of how many engineering transfers are accepted? Approximately? Is it more than for Wharton?
I have an exam tomorrow and this decision is also coming tomorrow… Wow
@transferind97 the decision comes out DURING my exam hahahaha
@yonceknowles do you happen to know any transfer students at Penn who are in the NETS program?
@transferind97 I have no idea, sorry. I only know that there were 13 Wharton, several nursing, and the vast majority were in the College. I never heard any stats about engineers so I do not know if it is higher or lower than Wharton, although I suspect it is higher since Wharton only had 13 transfer matriculates.
@CharlesDavis No, unfortunately. I’m in the College so I don’t know many engineers in general haha
Well, I guess there’s only one way to know
no worries
@YonceKnowles are the 13 wharton transfers internal or external students? if external how many junior transfers?
I’m only referring to external transfers to Wharton. They seemed to be mostly sophomores, I can’t recall if there are any juniors
@YonceKnowles How did you know that there were only 13 applicants again?
@sirstarr21 There were 13 matriculated external transfers to Wharton this year. I know the number because I was told by someone on the TSO Board and I’ve met (most of) them
