@Bastig17 it depends on the major you want to switch into and when they require your prerequisite coursework to be done. you can switch into some majors as long as you complete the prerequisites on time, for a lot of majors this is by the end of your first quarter there. other majors will NOT let you transfer into them unless you were accepted to this major due to the high demand. Check assist.org for the major you’re trying to transfer into, and contact a major adviser. I did this for global studies, and got all my questions answered.
@racerbabe11 Lots of UCSD decisions didn’t come out until last Friday - some got acceptances in March, another batch came out on 4/21, and then some individuals posted about waitlist/rejections from SD this week.
is the portal expected to be down until right at 5pm? is there any point in refreshing the page over and over haha
So far Accepted to UCSB and UCSD out of the four I applied to, still waiting on UCLA and UCB

Does getting into UCSD give you a better chance at getting into UCLA?
So far I’ve been accepted to UCR, UCSB, UCSD. I’m still pending for CSU Fullerton and UCLA but I like the fact that if I don’t get accepted to UCLA I’ll probably end up at UCSB.

Sitting here trying to wait patiently with all of you guys, trying to write a paper without much success. I wish you all the best of luck! PoliSci major, 4.0, TAP and honors, but still nervous as all hell. UCSD, UCI, UCSB and UCD all came back positive, but UCLA is the dream!
