@Panda100 I did! I received 23,000/year in grants and scholarships and I’m going to be commuting so I think that means I won’t have to take any loans. Yay! Lol

Started over at a community college and stayed there for 2 years maintaining a GPA of 3.68.

Major: Cognitive Science (but got into my alternative: Anthro)
Pre-reqs: all but Calc 2 and an intro to C++
ECs: Educational Outreach ambassador, UCLA CCCP Scholar, UCB TAP scholar, Honors program, Presidents Ambassador, President of a Latin@ club, Cultural Affairs Council, etc
Essays: Did not get them checked by almost anyone but emphasized overcoming various socioeconomic barriers in the pursuit of higher education
Applied: UCSB UCI UCLA, UCB
Accepted: UCLA, UCI, UCSB
Pending: UCB
Seriously to everyone who got in, WE DID THIS. We got into the most applied university in the nation. The 2nd best public university in the country. A WORLD RENOWNED INSTITUTION. WE DESERVED ITT!!!

Seeing as I was denied for Engineering and presumably because I wasn’t able to complete all the pre-reqs (My GPA is 3.93 so that’s probably not the problem), is it possible to transfer after three years at CC? Is that frowned upon?
Hey guys, I got accepted for Biochem. My GPA was 3.94 when applied (just A’s and few A-'s). However, I just updated my Winter grades and I got B+ in Ochem (major prep) and C in Physics (recommended). Will I get my admission rescinded for this?

It’ll show a very vague thing, then to the far left you click the link in the table. It’ll take you to another page with two tabs, click the second tab and it will give you a breakdown of your grants
