god I need some motivation and stress relief because I am legit borderline for one of my classes to pass with a B and not f**k my chances at UCLA ugh I regret putting myself in this position, but hey all I have to do is pretty much put my all in and ace everything and get at least a B on the final X_X
Do you guys know if housing is guaranteed for only the first year or both years? Please respond someone
@dreamla. I’m pretty much in the same position but I need a C on the final for a B. I hate being in this position because I know I would have a B guaranteed had I studied more. But I guess it is what it is we just have too go through this now! I really want to attend UCLA so these two weeks of intensive studying will be worth it!

My daughter got 2 years on the hill, first a triple shared bath and then a single (she tried for an apartment the 2nd year).
So first year is guaranteed, 2nd year is not but many still get housing.

@fcb1010 im glad im not the only one who’s dealing with this right now. I wish I didn’t slack cause the class is low key too easy for me to be stressing about the final and etc just to get a B haha I guess I learned from my mistake.

That UCLA call survey thing is a little weird. Lol. Maybe it’s to scope out how many people they can accept for the wait list?
@jae2017 it is! they kept calling me this week and I finally answered and it was legit just to know if I was interested in admitted into UCLA and I was like I already put my SIR and they were like ok thanks and ended the call.
They’re trying to protect the yield and have you commit.
@dreamla yeah the number kept calling but never leaving a voicemail. Finally answered today and they asked the same thing. The caller also asked if i want someone from admissions to call me to answer questions, which I guess is kinda nice? Haha
@jae2017 oh haha they didn’t ask me that they just said oh ok thank you and ended the call. I was kinda in a pissy mood when they called because I thought it was a telemarketer so she probably got scared off LOL
Is there any website where we can apply for scholarships besides those that we were offered to apply for? I can’t find it. If someone can post a link I will really appreciate it!

It is what it is now I need to get B’s in both my classes now I don’t want to risk it. Was that call from an area 310 number I keep getting a call from there. I’ll answer next time! Nevertheless you will get a B don’t worry!
@fcb1010 you will too! Good luck just keep in mind that this 2 weeks of torture is going to pay off immensely. Also the 310 number was the UCLA transition program thing but my phone automatically started to change it to UCLA so I knew it was them and answered. The other call for the survey was a torrance area code of 424
Did anyone who sent in their transcripts get this message “A preliminary transcript has been received from ORANGE COAST COLLEGE . A final transcript is still required.”? I am not 100% sure what it means since what I sent was an official transcript. I’ve taken classes at 3 cc’s only one has the checkmark next to it. The other two has this message so I don’t know what they except to receive.
@dreamla If I was you I would spend all my time studying for that class! Every minute you spending on this site (instead of studying for that) you are reducing you chance
