it is important to finish prerequisites by Spring before transferring. so YES, the latest to complete everything is Spring. AND YESS, everything on assist.org is your major pre requisite.@WillAchieve8

How do we register for classes… when does school start etc? I keep waiting for some email to tell me me what to do or expect because I have no idea lol.
You will register for your classes when you go to orientation. I believe the orientation dates open up the third week of June, which you have to register for and pick a date that you will be attending.
how do we update spring grades? do we do it manually somewhere AND submit transcripts? or do we just submit our transcripts and wait? I got 2 C’s in elective classes so i’m kinda worried ahhhhh
@cspoon1126 you need to check your contract and make sure it doesn’t state : report changes if you get 2 or more C’s in your courses. If so, then you need to call UCLA/report those changes through the website. As for transcripts, you just need to send them in from your school before july 1st
Sup guys! Turns out I got B’s and A’s in my spring courses, so I’m freaking happy that I didn’t get any C’s, but the stress was real. ~(˘▾˘~)
Also, are we allowed to sign up for summer classes at UCLA?
anyone’s transcript say that’s a “preliminary” transcript and that “a final transcript is still required”? I sent in my official transcript with associates and IGETC from 2015. Are they referring to any spring 2017 transcripts as the final?
@lucidday Once they receive your transcript with Spring 2017 grades they’ll check mark it.

YES you can take summer classes. They can be at CCC, CSU, UC and possibly private schools too. If at CSU, other UC or private, you may want to find out if they are transferable.

Just remember that at UCLA, the courses are compressed from 10 weeks to 6 weeks, so you may not want to take more than 1 or 2 classes per session.
