agreed. the email on the approved appeal said we would have an answer by April 1st. it just came before
Thanks
My daughter is declining her offer here today—hope one of you get it!
I just got waitlisted. Anyone know what the chances are getting accepted from waitlist? I’m assuming I won’t hear anything until May 1, because that’s when everyone is done with their signing of intents?
@Clueless2000 did you check your portal or did you get an email?
Checked the self service. Haven’t receive the waitlist email as they said I would.
I got waitlisted as well
I checked self service earlier today, with no decision available.
Recieved an email about 5 mins ago.
In state non local
Decision: Waitlisted!
Major: (Pre) Marine Biology
CSU GPA: 3.54
SAT Superscored: 1140
SAT Highest Sitting: 1120
I was expecting a rejection, im actually super happy about this!
My D was excepted to SDSU in December and waitlisted
At CSULB today. Major Fashion Merchandising
Out of state NY.
CSULB was her first choice
I got an email about an hour ago
Decision: Waitlisted
Major: Chemistry
In state not local
CSU GPA: 3.27
SAT: 1170
No waitlist data for the last 4 years is listed on CSULB’s common dataset. Your chances of getting off the waitlist are dependent upon how many students SIR by May 1 so there is no way to predict.
@Gumbymom do you know if waitlist priority is base on first come first serve, or stats?
got waitlisted today for marine biology so if anyone got in and doesn’t plan to attend here please decline
@Clueless2000: For the CSU’s it is usually ranked by major and eligibility index. If spots open up in a particular major then the highest ranked EI applicant will be accepted first.
@Gumbymom thank you for taking the time to answer my questions
CS Major
3.42 GPA
1210 SAT
52 college units, (16 community college classes) including a certification of cyber security from Cypress college
Anyone know the chances of actually getting admitted?
sorry I forgot to mention I was waitlisted
Since February 1 I’ve been constantly checking CSULB and was put that “I have met CSU requirements.” And literally 2 months later they finally say that I’m on the waitlist. Like sorry LB, UCLA, UCI, UCSD, UCSB, UCD, UCSC, and UCR all accepted me. This goes to show how CSU system is like a “spin the wheel” type of college system. Good Gpa, good sat, and you have a 70% of getting in (exclude major), and a 30% of denial, while UCs look at every applicant of who they are as a person.
Daughter waitlisted a few hours ago:
UC/CSU GPA: 3.89
SAT: 1340
Major: Undeclared
In state, not local.
Happy to have this last decision in. She will likely attend SDSU.
Please clarify! Daughter got rejected for UC Berkley, UCI, waitlisted to UCLA (UCI being her satefy).
GPA 4.38
SATs 1350
Activities: Peer Mediation, Link Crew club, Marching Band (4years) Varsity Cheer (4years)
Community Service- 100 + hours
AP- 4 completed witj 3/4’s and 3 more pending.
Only thing is that she was taking her language fullfillment last fall at a CC to fulfill college requirements. Received an A. But that grade did not reflect on her application as she was still awaiting transcript. Could the fact that she had not fullfilled that grade at the time of applications be a reason she was rejected to all her applications? Although letters did not indicate her lack of requirements, yet was flat put rejected? Dont’ know what to advise her to do next?!
