@alwaysbored123
Last year you got provisional admission to CalPoly Pomona. Congrats! Can you tell us if you were asked for your transcripts or if they asked for them after you got to provisional admit? A couple of us are trying to figure out what the earliest is that a transfer got accepted. Also, what was your major?
@SoCalGal2017 you can check last year’s thread
ACCEPTED!!!
Major: Chemistry
CSU GPA: 4.0
SAT: 1130
@xxsdccx Yes, I have !
Anxiously waiting! CSU GPA: 3.46 SAT 1520. Any chance to get admitted to CPP?
@CppM2022 major?
4288 EI for CPP CS is probably going to be a long shot. My son got in but is hoping for UCI, so they may have you wait to see if the slots fill. Did u apply to CSUF as well? @CppM2022
@eagles2222
My status still hasn’t changed in my portal and I have no requests for transcripts.
Im a transfer applicant so Im guessing Im gonna get stuck waiting and waiting and waiting until May sad face
Dont don’t worry I’m a transfer too from citrus college and during counseling appointment at CPP she told me personally that they should have acceptance letters out by APRIL 15th so we just gotta be patient

Anyone know what the EI will be for this year? I have a 3836. Do I have a good chance? Undeclared ( Business Admin CIS as a Backup)
@copperlinex2 My son is also CS, with UCI as his top choice. He has been admitted to Cal Poly Pomona for CS and was admitted to the Kellogg Honors College. He really likes CPP after visiting the campus and would probably pick CPP if he had to choose today.
@Gumbymom
when are the waves/ how often?
i have been receiving the same old application received forever.
@ForumGuy Mine liked CPP campus so much he decided he wasn’t sending in an app to UCR. He decided against Kellogg app. Probably a mistake to miss out on priority registration & cool honors lounge. I think he’s thinking Irvine will come through. Learning CS at CPP semester pace would likely be less painful than UCI quarters.
@mgh516: There is not a set schedule on when and how many decision waves each CSU will have. Most CSU’s are slightly behind their normal schedule probably due to the new Cal State Apply application which has had many issues. In past years, the Honors college invitees and High stat/Local applicants would hear by the end of January for CPP, followed by the bulk of admission decisions in February and some trickling out through April. All I can tell any applicant is be patient and remember no decision is better than a rejection.
My D is an honors college invitee and received an invite to the Showcase of Excellence, but she’s been on application received and no items on her To Do List since December 6th. Frustrating, but based on what I’m seeing here, nothing overly abnormal.
