Ya I don’t think they have rejected you. They wouldn’t have taken the time to update your application if so. From what I am reading on these threads, it seems like they send out acceptance or update to accepted, by major. If you look at Fall 2017 thread, a lot of people got picked up off the waitlist. I know its hard, but sit tight.

Applied as a local transfer into mechanical engineering with manufacturing engineering as my backup. 3.91 GPA and still nothing.
I know that major is heavily impacted but I thought I had a decent shot. Getting pretty late.

I have not gotten any information on my Cal Poly Pomona application besides that it says still on review, the major i chose is civil engineering. when do they make decisions for this major? and would i even get accepted?

in the top 7 of my grade.
really worried because my SAT scores are really low

@CivilEngineerg: Civil Engineering is an impacted major and according to the CPP website, you need a minimum SAT Math score of 550 for consideration. Did you select an alternate major? Perhaps you are being considered for your alternate major instead.
Does anyone here that applying for Agribusiness and Food Production Management or Fall 2018 already got their decisions yet?
Mine still stuck at Application Received. Not sure if this is because of the deadline for agribusiness application closed earlier this year not on Nov 30 last year like any other majors. Any ideas?
Mine still says application received. I think the reason why is because some people with high stats are accepted, but that does not ensure they are going there. Some people who got accepted and does not decline the admission to cpp will hold up the spot in that major tbh. I hope people are not attending will decline to give others a chance. Btw, to the people who got accepted…did you receive the decision through portal or email?! My major shouldnt be impacted and i have a 3.3 and 1020. Anyone else on the same boat? Fall 2018 incoming freshman.

@vevee_02 My daughter found out on the portal, and the email came the same day. It was a Friday.
FWIW, she is 99% certain that she is going to CPP, although she’s just waiting for UCLA and UCI to release (supposed to be today, for both of them) to confirm to 100%.
DD’s portal shows the same status as before:
Status: Application Received No Action Required
Status Explanation:Your application has been received and is under review.
But she received an email yesterday at 5pm for rejection from CPP (mom’s and uncle’s alma mater)
GPA: 3.67
SAT: 1420
Major: Business (eCommerce)

I applied for sociology and my friend got accepted for hospitality I believe and she didn’t even apply to cal poly I’m kind of feeling discouraged. I’m still patiently waiting .

I’m local and applied undeclared and my portal still says application under review! Super annoying like ucla decisions already came out and cpp cant give me an answer lmao
