@Perezstefany : when did CSUDH send you your acceptance?
To everyone on this thread, I sincerely apologize. CPP doesn’t want 7th semester transcripts until after you’ve been accepted like almost every other CSU/UC. I only mentioned the transcript for CSUF because so many of us have applied to both.
@SoCalGal2017 I wasn’t asked for supplemental application but was requested transcripts.
Major: Social work/ sociology
GPA: 3.9
All coursework completed

@CopperlineX2 I was requested to mail 7th Semester transcripts by CPP today. Btw, I applied to CSULB but not CSUF. My CPP To-Do list states the deadline as 28 February. Will CPP email the admission decisions in March then?
For CSULB, I already mailed the transcripts. I guess they will announce the admission results by last month.
@EssentiallyAlly It is 28th February for me. I guess it differs for international students?
@CopperlineX2 What do you mean by after being accepted from other CSUs? I thought CPP is not influenced by other CSUs.
I had thought they are seperate.
I haven’t been requested to send 7th semester transcripts yet is that bad ? Also if you have a non impacted major do they respond soon ?
Hi Everyone,
This is the second time applying to CPP. I applied for winter 2018 but was rejected because I’m not local.
Major: Philosophy
GPA: 3.5
Golden 4 completed
Major GPA: 3.7
When I open my portal, all I see is “application received” so that’s starting to worry me
I think there making transfer applicants wait a little longer, from reading other posts, I’ve noticed alot of transfer students haven’t received new updates since they first applied.
@Bellethink CPP didn’t ask for transcripts. CSUF wants an official transcript sent that includes 7th semester. Finally sent it snail mail. Wish our school used Parchment.
@CopperlineX2 does Fullerton decide on the admission decision based on the 7th transcript too?
@kbutter1234: The reason for 7th semester transcripts at CSU Fullerton from CSUF website:
CSUF is an impacted campus and determines the admissibility of an applicant using an eligibility index and college prep coursework completed in high school. For you to be admitted early, you must have already completed these minimum coursework requirements by the end of the junior year (see below) with a “C-” or better as well as meet the qualifying eligibility index. If any of these required courses is in progress during the senior year, you will need to submit a high school transcript after the first semester senior year (7th semester) grades are posted.
Use the checklist below to measure your progress towards satisfying the coursework requirements.
6 semesters of college prep English and enrolled in 2 semesters
6 semesters of math including or equivalent to Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 or Common Core Integrated Math I, II,
and III.
2 semesters of US History or Government
2 semesters of other social sciences such as World History or Geography
2 semesters of a life science such as Biology or Human Anatomy, should be a year-long course
2 semesters of a physical science such as Chemistry or Physics, should be a year-long course
4 semesters of the same foreign language or verified proficiency (e.g. SAT II or native speaker)
2 semesters in the same category of visual or performing art— be sure to verify the course you took is on the UC a-g list.
The categories are Dance, Theatre, Art, or Music.
Basically they are making sure they you have passed all the a-g course requirements including 1st semester Senior year. I know of 2 applicants last year that received D’s in their Senior English class and were rescinded after being accepted.
What supplemental application are you guys talking about ? I just received an email from CSU in the beginning of January to update my application.
That’s great! Keep us posted!
I applied for CalPoly Pomona and SLO and they emailed me a reminder to complete their required “supplemental application” but I’m not sure if it’s required of freshman applicants. I believe it’s required for transfer students only. Please correct me if I’m wrong. First time applying as a transfer.
@SoCalGal2017 I received the acceptance letter on December 5, 2017
@Gumbymom you are literally the best! Thanks so much for the help!
@SoCalGal2017 by supplemental application you mean the update from the CSU app on fall 2017 grades?
To clarify, are freshman applicants to CPP getting requests for seventh semester grades? My daughter applied to CPP for fall 2018 and got a letter in early Jan suggesting she apply to honors college, but no admission yet. However, she is taking her only visual arts/perf. arts class as a senior, Ceramics, so that category of a-g requirements was not satisfied by the end of her junior year. Should she be looking for the request in her e-mails? (she will be getting an A in Ceramics, btw).
@pekkla: I am not aware that CPP asks for 7th semester teanscripts from Freshman applicants. This may chsnge as more majors become impacted at CPP. I only addressed the question in regards to CSU Fullerton which has been requesting these transcripts for seversl years. The CPP applicants posting about transcripts are transfers.
