So for those freshmen who are waitlisted for Mechanical Engineering, I have good news. S bit the bullet and made his decision last night. He declined to attend CPP, (he is in-state, not local area) which hopefully means his vacated spot allows someone to realize their dream. Not so good news to those waitlisted at UCI, though, sorry.

Yes they did the updates.today. they said today they had to wait for the systems to come back up from the quarter to semester conversion they did over the weekend. We were there today touring and asking them about it.

What hell is going with cal poly Pomona…last week I got a denial email and denial in my bronco direct so I was ready to move on…now I get an email about 30 mins today saying I’ve been provisionally admitted to cal poly and to pay $150 EDC deposit WTH is going on are they playing with my emotions can’t call because admissions is colosed
@Damcri95 Did you apply to both Cal Poly Pomona & Cal Poly SLO, or just to CalPoly Pomona? Because that’s great that you got admitted Congrats

@ptijerina yes and I left my info with them and said they will call me back…the lady also said it like this say your food science major had rooom to accept 150 people and 300 people applied for the major but only 100 accepted the offer, they would now add more people from the people who were not accepted to reach the 150 limit

So, they’re not pulling from the waitlist for those spots that other applicants left open because they decided to attend elsewhere? They’re just offering admissions to applicants they previously denied admission to instead of pulling from the waitlist?

My son FINALLY declined his admission for computer science at CPP. He loves the campus but has chosen to attend a UC. Congrats to all who will be attending. It’s a fantastic school!
For those that were denied on that Friday then offered a spot on Monday what was the final verdict when you called?
I just got an email this morning that I have been accepted to my alternate major ‘Landscape Architecture’ not ‘Architecture’. Is there any chance I can change my major to Architecture?

We actually don’t have GPA’s in my school, we have percentages so I don’t know my GPA.
