Hi, I applied with tag for public health sciences and still nothing so far. I finished IGETC and major req last semester, this semester was just taking courses to graduate with an aa in biological sciences. My stats aren’t too great but show an upward trend and I feel so so about my chances at this point haha but it’s nice to see everyone else getting in for interesting majors too!
I don’t stress not getting in as I can take a few more classes to re-apply/apply to state schools this fall and/or apply to get into some certification program to get a head start on clinical/patient work for PA school down the line. Still, UCI is my number one and I’d die to get in lol. I also applied to UCM and UCSD.

Super weird - I randomly logged in to MyAdmission, and it says I was admitted! I still haven’t been notified by email or mail. Is this accurate?! I’m afraid to be excited! If I was admitted, it will be for Comparative Literature!

@SebastianRosiak I think it was Engineering design. The thing is, I intend to study Aerospace, not mechanical (there was a problem in my application, see my previous post), so I will go to petition the major change if I indeed go to UCI. Aerospace doesn’t have that course as a pre-req so I will be going straight to my major studies, I hope.

It’s my first time posting my comment here but I see many of you who are looking for the admitted stats for CS or CSE majors so I’m giving mine briefly.
I applied to CS&E with NO TAG and I got my acceptance letter today!
I’m now attending CC and I’m an international student.
My stats:
GPA: 3.875(about 60+ units and one C from ESL, all others are A)
Major GPA: 4.0(ALL Math, Physics cleared and only Data structure is left for CS classes)
Pre-requisites: I aimed for Berkeley and LA so for Irvine, I think I didn’t even satisfy about 70% of it. Actually, many of them were not even articulated from my college.
EC: AMATYC National ranking 16th once, and 1st in my CC several times, CAPSTONE research, School tutoring(Engineering Physics, Calculus, and General Chemistry) several years, and played in intermediate college soccer team for about 1.5 years, and some small volunteerings…
