Hello everybody,
Does anyone know when admissions decisions are coming out for transfer students?
Hello everybody,
Does anyone know when admissions decisions are coming out for transfer students?
I am also waiting to hear back, I am an FP applicant. Decisions from Smith come out on Tuesday for transfer so maybe soon?
I am also an FP applicant. I think they were released on Tuesday the 26th last year!
They WERE released on the 26th last year. My father passed away the day before and I got my “Please apply again” letter that day. So I know what day it was exactly. I got an email from Smith saying decisions for Ada Comstock were coming tomorrow. I’m assuming Mount Holyoke will use the same date as last year.
Has anyone heard back yet?
@BrigidDorothy nope. Nothing yet.
I can no longer see my admissions checklist, so they may be coming out today!
I can’t see my admission checklist either but I’m pretty sure mine was gone like a week or two ago. I can see my financial aid checklist instead. Pretty sure tomorrow is the day. Good Luck @lostgirl28
Thanks, good luck to you as well @MHGirl615
I got accepted!!
I was accepted as an FP!!! YAY… quick question, though, housing was not a part of the cost of attendance, is that true for any other FP applicants?
Congratulation @lostgirl28 @MHGirl615 so super crossing my fingers for you. =)
I was also accepted!
Congrats to all of you that I got in for the Francis Perkins Program!!! Have any Transfer students received their decisions yet? My admissions checklist is still on my portal and I haven’t received an email about it yet.
@OnTheFly11 & @lostgirl28 I GOT IN!! Mount Holyoke was my first choice!!! Congratuations @Chestnutgryl44 as well!!! I’m SUPER excited. This is my second year applying!!
No. On campus housing is not part of the scholarship for FPs. You have to pay for that yourself. But considering that it’s a fraction of what you’d pay otherwise, I feel like it’s worth it. I’m planning on doing on campus housing even though I live about 20 miles away because I have 2 other college students and a high school student in my household and I can never get anything done in my house. I’d rather have dedicated space at school to do my work. Also a place to stay if I’m at school and there’s a storm. I don’t want to drive the backroads home in a snowstorm.
@MHGirl615 Congratulations to you too!! I am in the same boat…I applied last year and was denied admission so this is just so surreal. I never imagined getting accepted to a prestigious lac like MoHo!
Right, that I knew, but if it’s not included in the cost of attendance, we cannot qualify for any other type of aid or loans for those costs.
Congratulations everyone! MH is my first choice, so hopefully, I’ll meet some of you in the fall.
@HarlowKnight, D is a transfer student and got a YES =)
