It says status completed and below there’s an acceptance letter. You’ll also receive a letter in the mail.
I just got my acceptance today! It was exactly a month since I applied if that helps anyone
congrats!
Congrats!!
congrats
Is American releasing decisions in waves? If so, do we know when the next wave will be?
I think you should contact them if you haven’t received a decision at this time. I applied around January-February and got my decision weeks ago.
It’s taken about a month for most people. - I applied 25 days ago, haven’t heard back yet.
Oh wow
I actually just heard back today. Accepted into the School of Public Affairs!
I heard back yesterday I got in!
Same !!! - maybe we could do a group chat for transfers?
Sounds good!!
do you guys know the last day is to enroll? trying to see if i can get an early read at another university
When I spoke to someone in admissions she said they don’t have a hard deadline to deposit and enroll, but they prefer students to give notice of whether or not they will be attending AU by July 1st.
Congrats to everyone who has heard back and gotten in!
Does anyone have any insight into whether on not is still worth applying for the Fall 2021 Sem before the May 1 deadline? I know it’s rolling so I’m guessing odds are probably slimmer at this point? I feel okay about my application currently but I was thinking I could take the Fall to work if applying earlier for Spring 2022 admissions would give me a better shot.
I’m considering it but I am afraid it will backfire since that would mean a year-long gap in my education and because more students might be applying for Spring since schools will be going back to in-person.
Any thoughts or insights on this would be immensely appreciated!!
(Also just out of curiosity for anyone willing to share (especially International Studies and Pol Sci majors!!) their gpa and app stats! I’m just trying to gauge whether this is a long shot for me haha)
Depends. I got accepted really fast, likely because of my grades and major. I would recommend that if you have very good grades (3.5+) for high school and college that it is worth it. Keep in mind their transfer acceptance rate is 72%. Those are really good odds. If it is the school you want apply.
does anyone know if they send an email for decisions or if it’s in a certain section of the portal? i applied pretty early on so I hope to hear back soon. good luck and congrats everyone!
