I am an accounting major transfer and have registered for the following courses:

Business Practices 1 - 3 credits
Business Practices 2 - 4 credits
Finance 3403 -4 credits
MAC 2234 survey calc 3

a total of 14 credits. This is very quantitative and fairly intense from what I here. ANyone else been throught it? I want to take a spanish course too but maybe its too much. Let me know what you think.

sorry i was in a rush, its MAC 2234 Survey of Calc II - 3 credits

u should be ok, just be ready for a hard semester, BP 1 and 2 are NOT taken at the same time, first half is BP1, then like a 1 week break then BP 2, i hear they are like intro to financial on steroids

That looks like a fairly typical schedule to me. Just prepare yourself because BP is intense. I’m in my graduate year of the 3/2 now, and I coasted through my first two years at UF and then the BP classes kind of put me on my butt a little. I got a B+ in 1 and a B in 2 (I set high standards for myself), so I survived, but it was definitely an adjustment. The BP classes show you what the rest of your accounting studies at UF will be like (in other words, it doesn’t get any easier), so you need to decide if you can handle it/is it for you.

Good luck!
