Can students stay in the residential colleges during fall and spring breaks? Will there be food available also?

Students can stay in the dorms over fall and spring break. Many--but certainly not even close to a majority--students don't go home over break, especially internationals and West Coasters.

While one dining hall operates during these breaks, you usually have to purchase a temporary plan to eat during breaks (students on the unlimited block program got this plan for free last year). I think, however, that most students skip this, because the cost is pretty high, and just eat out at Nassau and the Wa for a week or so.

Princeton also sponsors community service trips over fall and spring break that might be of interest if coming home is not an option.

thank you! that's good information. i had forgotten about the community service trips.

are there any OA trips over fall and spring breaks?

A fair number of freshmen do OA leader training over spring break.

My D did OA leader training over fall break, and more training between 1st and 2nd semesters.
