Fall Diversity Visit Programs: A Compilation

and their “Your Day on Campus” program

Adding “Air Denison”:

This looks like it’s by INVITATION ONLY, yesterday D2 got a hard copy via snail mail and I don’t see anything on their website. This might have been generated by a list from Ventures Scholars, NHRP or NMS semi, etc. It never hurts to ask, if you’re interested in Denison, give them a call and see if they will send you an inivitation.

Sept 22 hrough Dec 8, visit campus for a 1-night stay and they pay airfare (up to $500, excluding baggage fees); ground transportation to and from airport, student-host and all meals provided. Attend classes, experience campus life, meet students & faculty. You can either do an individual overnight (Sun-Thurs) or attend one of their Fall Visitation programs.

Note: Denison offers many merit scholarships, several of which are for diversity, and they are for substantial amounts:

Bumping this up for the next crop of applicants.

this. is. amazing.
thank you so much past '09 and '10 applicants!

Anyone go to WoW and can tell me about their experiences?

And this is why CC is undoubtedly the best thing I’ve discovered regarding college. Question: Would Middle Eastern be considered “underrepresented” or “minority”?

Many of the links that were posted on this thread are dead… anyone have any updated information?

Bumping this up and adding Yale. While they don’t have a diversity weekend for prospective students, they did offer to pay travel expenses for D2 to visit when she was accepted last year. I don’t know if this offer went to all admitted URMs or not.

NHCTmom, I would recommend looking at the websites or calling schools on the list to find out their current policies. Keilexandra did extensive research to develop this list, I don’t know anywhere else that has such a complete resource. Here’s one other source:
