<p>Source: I was taken off the waitlist in early may this year. See you in a couple of days if answer to above question is ‘yes’.</p>
<p>No, HMC has a program called FAST (Future Achievers in Science and Technology) which provides diverse students to spend a weekend on campus for free. We get to stay in dorms, listen to professors, and do interviews. </p>
<p>Good job on getting into HMC for real, though! I guess we’ll be seeing you later this fall, at least for a weekend.</p>

<p>Does HMC pay for your travel expenses for FAST if you are from far away? I can’t tell from the FAST page on the HMC website.</p>
<p>Yes, if you live at least 250 miles away they will cover all travel expenses.</p>
