Fall housing just came out where's everyone staying trying to find my suitemates I'm in DeGraff 1208 :)

I’m on the second floor of Rogers somewhere, they did say rooms where subject to change but, im sure the hall/room type is set. Unfortunately, the assignment site isn’t ready so, we’re still in dark about roomates until mid June according to them.

Actually, scratch that, assignments are now available at:

[The Florida State University - University Housing](http://www.housing.fsu.edu/assignment)

Salley Hall. Seems like a pretty nice setup … I hope?

Bedrooms are a bit small, but it has a lot of advantages that no other room has:

Cheapest suite style hall on campus

Largest bathrooms on campus

Separate study room, which allows roommates to study while the other is sleeping

No Meal plan requirement. And if you’ve seen Aramark’s latest meal plan offerings, you will see they’ve gone into full-scam mode.

Many thanks. Due to the size of the bedrooms, I’m guessing unbunking the beds is out of the question?

I’m okay with there being less room for activities, haha.

In Salley? Yeah, unbunking the beds is pretty much impossible.

Oh, okay. I’m sure I can make do, though. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, the way the suites are set up, the bedrooms are pretty tiny. Pretty much the only way you can get around in the room is if you keep the beds bunked.

On the housing page for Rogers does your roommate info show up? Mine doesn’t show any roommate info yet. Guess I have to wait.

Don’t quote me on this papertiger, but if you don’t have a roommate listed, that normally just means that you currently don’t have one assigned. Give it a couple days and I’m sure you’ll have one (fortunately or unfortunately).

When you filled out the application for Rogers, did you choose to live in a single or double? From what I understand, there’s very few singles in Rogers, but it could be possible that you were assigned to one. More likely though, you just haven’t gotten assigned a roommate yet.

Have you checked your Account Statement under Secure Apps to see what you owe for housing? I don’t know how they’d list Rogers since it’s month-to-month compared to regular housing which is on a per-semester basis, but seeing what they show as you owing for Housing typically is a dead giveaway for what you’re assigned to. :)

The only housing payment it shows is for my second half of payment for session A.
I guess I’ll just wait and see what happens.

You CAN unbunk the beds… people in Salley do it. You just won’t be doing much walking in the bedrooms (which you don’t spend much time in the bedroom anyway since you have the common area).

Yes, my info is available. Still waiting for that person to write me back, probably once the snail mail letters go out… I hope.

I know someone who lived in Salley and loved it. He and his roommate actually put their bed in an “L” shape, where one bed was on the highest setting, the other on the lowest, and the higher bed would overlap the end of the lower bed. This way no one had to really climb up the bed!
