Fall Housing

My daughter just found out on myUCF that she will be in Tower 1 for Fall. Where is everyone else going to be?

I checked at "my UCF housing assignment" and there is nothing listed yet for my son for fall, how did you get your assignment already?

My daughter's Fall room assignment and roommates were posted on MyUCF this past weekend. She will be in Tower 3.

It was posted on myUCF. They also listed the roommates who are in rooms C and D but not the one for room B, which may mean that room B belongs to an upperclassman OR they just haven't assigned it yet.
pereztp - does your son have a housing confirmed date for fall? That would mean that he is guaranteed housing. If not, he may be on a waiting list for Fall housing.

My D's fall housing assignment has not been posted yet either. She does have a housing confirmed date, but she is also waitlisted for Honor's housing.

Yes he has a housing confirmed date for fall, maybe only the towers info is out. My son wants Nike/Hercules.

Yeah, only the towers kids know so far. I'll be in Libra and I don't have any info yet, either.

D got off the waitlist. She will be living in Towers III. The only bad news is that she won't be living with her BFF. Her BFF will be living in Towers 1 I believe.

florida mom - what floor is your daughter assigned to? My daughter will be on the 4th floor.

1bandmom,

My daughter's actual assignment is not up yet. She received an email congratulating her on being taken off the waitlist and giving instructions on how to go into MyUCF to submit a new housing agreement for the Towers III housing. She has done that. Now she needs to wait for her MyUCF to be updated.

I will let you know as soon as she finds out.

I'm in Tower III on the 7th floor, the very top. I hope I get a great view. :) Maybe the UCF Arena? The Football stadium?

My parents were wondering why I'm so excited about the top floor. They said, "What is up there's you're so excited about? One of those rotating restaurants?"

Just got my assignment for Libra. Sumter Hall.

1bandmom, my D just saw her assignment. She will be in Tower 3, 7th floor.

So glad she was able to see her assignment. Has she been able to locate any of her roommates on facebook? Guess we'll all be at orientation on Monday & Tuesday!

More fall housing is posted. My son is happy, he is in Nike!

im in tower 2, on the third floor, anyone else in tower 2? Heard anything good/bad about it?

I just went into tower III during the orientation just to see where my room was. The elevator in the tower is slooooooooooooow. It goes at about a floor every 5 seconds. I'm not joking. That's half a minute to get to my floor without stopping for anyone else! I think I'll just take the stairs when going down, even if it's from the 7th floor. :)

I had heard that about the elevators....probably a nightmare during move-in.
I am very glad that my daughter is on the second floor!

We saw Tower 3 on the orientation dorm tour yesterday. It is gorgeous. Mind you that we moved my daughter into a Nike apartment last Sunday and that was still nice by college standards but Tower 3 was luxury! They showed us a sample 4/2 room on the first floor. We went up to the second floor to try to see where my daughter's Tower 1 room would be....location wise but Tower 3 is configured differently than the other towers due to both the retail stores underneath it and the added classrooms to the building. The tourguide showed us the fire safety floormap on the wall in the hallway though (sorta like the ones on the back on every hotel room door) and it appears that my daughter's fall room may be in the corner of the floor. This would be amazing because the corner rooms are 4 bed/4 bath but we won't be sure until we see the bill (they cost about 200$ more a semester)!
