My S has applied and been accepted at several CSUs and is waiting for Calpoly SLO. I wondered what sort of stats K majors who had already been accepted had. Thanks.

My S is also waiting for Cal Poly SLO. His stats are 3.8 (UW) 4.12 (UC GPA) 1970 SAT / 2050 Supercore
5 AP’s during 10-11 grades and 5 APs in 12th grade.

My S was accepted last year into the program. He had a 3.9/4.5 GPA with a 1980 SAT/32 ACT. Cal Poly does not superscore.

We’ve pinged a few other kids who applied for K and no acceptances yet - they also haven’t heard of any K being accepted

I got accepted last week as a kinesiology major! My stats were a 4.18 GPA and a 28 ACT

I applied. I’m 3.9 with a 30 ACT. No word yet.

Any further acceptances from the Kinesiology Department?? No word here yet either!

I just now noticed this thread. I don’t know if you’re interested in hearing about early decisioners but my D was accepted early decision to kinesiology. Her GPA is 4.19, and she had a 31 ACT (32 superscored). Her SAT was 1440/2100. She had all of the “desired” components except for the extra year of English and foreign language. She had 5 APs and 3 honors classes. Best of luck to all–we were so nervous waiting for the ED decisions to start coming out and that was bad enough–but the wait for RD seems much, much more stressful because it is so drawn out. I do so hope all of you get in, and best wishes.

Takeitalin my understanding is that CalPoly does superscore both SAT and ACT as do all of the CSUs–here’s what I found:
