@NotSoPatient How appropriate is your username? Haha! I’m in the same boat - received two acceptances, two scholarships, and expecting 2 more acceptances and scholarships before I’ll even hear back from UT. I should change my username to NotAtAllPatient.
@Krystamarie3 Yes, I did choose a very appropriate username ha ha
Sigh this is so frustrating hahaha
@Krystamarie3 Undergrad Architecture Admissions has their own email, so I did that. If you go to your school’s site I’m sure you’ll be able to find an email
@c777123 Thank you! I’ve emailed CNS so I’ll let you know if/when I get any information. @NotSoPatient
Does anyone know if we will be getting decisions tonight?
Why do you think it’s tonight? Have you heard or read something?
No, not at all. Just a general question, very very VERY tired of waiting and today is the 15th so I wanted to think that maybe they would release decisions today, but I highly doubt that.
Quick question: I applied OOS (Maryland) on October 24. Any idea when I should expect a decision by?
@ravensnick I wish I could tell you, but I don’t know. I applied October 10 and I still haven’t found out if I got in or not. I’m assuming the next wave of admissions should happen between now and Friday. Some please correct me if I am wrong.
How are decisions released- Snail mail, email or on my status? Thx
@loop2loop: I believe the decision comes through mystatus and a letter.
I called the Undergraduate Office for the School of Liberal Arts (COLA) and asked when would those applicants begin receiving admission and she said, “Oh, let me check” and hung up the phone. Is that a “not anytime soon” in admission talk? Lol
*college
@jtuni20 maybe she just was sick of people calling and asking or something lol
my friends who go to UT said that we might well be waiting until spring for decisions (one of them applied in october for the honors program deadline, another did not)
I suspect that the only non-auto admit applicants that have been admitted so far are those very highly qualified applicants who are likely applying to other competitive schools. It is smart for schools to let these applicants know that they are admitted early–especially if there are scholarship awards. I suspect for most non-auto admits, as well as for most OOS students, there will be a wait until the Spring. Tough for OOS students, as many offered admission may choose other schools, and if UT tries to maintain OOS admission at 10%, many won’t know until applications have been withdrawn.
Evidently decisions have started to be released again. My daughter has been accepted. Computer science. She’s a non-auto admit.
2nd Wave has been released.
Sadly I was not a part of it.
Does anyone know if they release everything at once? Or will they be releasing decisions throughout the day? Anyone from New York hear yet?
@wardroger000 Hang in there! We’re pulling for you!
