No, you just deny UT’s offer. I was accepted ED to another school and that is exactly what I did. What’s the difference? Either way you are saying “I will not be attending UT”

@IAMomofTwins - My son is OOS and has stats very similar to your sons’ stats. His application has been under review since late September. His first choice is Business Undecided (McCombs) and second choice is Biological Science.
@Bailey101 They will not take scores after Dec 31 but transcripts, I don’t know. I wouldn’t think so but if you tweet, you can ask them UT Austin Admissions @bealonghorn
Son applied mid August, in-state, non-auto (top 10%) and had been in “Review” since forever!!!
Until today: “Welcome to the Class of 2020, and to the Economics major in the College of Liberal Arts, where you may begin your studies effective Fall 2016.”
I think someone had mentioned that UT “releases” around the 15-20 of the month. I hope for everyone’s sake this is a huge wave!! So very excited. Still waiting and hopeful for LAH but this is a great relief.

Congratulations! I’m glad your wait is over. I have noticed that releases come on Thursdays and normally middle of month Thursdays. The first releases were 11/19 and then the second release 12/17. Congratulations to everybody who gets their answer today.

Anyone else hear from UT today? Just curious if this is just instate kids or college of Liberal Arts only. Looking for a pattern etc… We are OOS and applied to business.
An admission wave may include only COLA students, but I doubt it matters if your student is OOS.

My D’s status still says Complete On Time. It has never changed to in review. I know she is getting concerned. She’s an auto admit top 3.5% of her class. Still waiting for her major in CNS.
Whoa! There might be a wave going on. I didn’t get a package yet in the mail, but I was admitted to Cockrell on My Status. That’s a big, pleasant surprise.
@TXDad56 Congratulations! on your son’s wait being over. I went to check my son’s status when I saw your post, and 
he is still in review. He didn’t submit until October 12,

@sunbeams, I’m OOS from Arizona. 3.83 UW gpa, 34 ACT, SAT Math II 770. My school doesn’t rank students or offer AP courses.
