My grades are all up! I think most of them went up yesterday.

i_lose is absolutely correct. i've been TAing chemistry and biochemistry courses for almost five years, and whenever i get a regrade request, the first thing i have to say is "sure, but i'm going to regrade everything -- so your grade may easily drop if i have a closer look at it." that usually fixes things, and the students will usually reconsider their request (since many of them don't know the material well enough to decide whether their other answers are as correct as they could be).

i'm more than willing to fix things if i made a mistake, but if it weren't for the verbal warning, we'd be getting HUNDREDS of regrade requests from everyone. i like teaching and helping, but it isn't my life.

I'm worried. My teacher sent me an email saying my grade was miscalculated on the 18th, and that the correct grade is posted on webct. Tritonlink, however, has a lower grade which was posted only a few days ago. I know it says grades aren't final until the 23rd, but that's less than a day away. Anyone else in the same position? Does tritonlink usually update at the last minute? Or will I most likely have to fight for my higher grade? Thanks in advance.

I doubt you will have to "fight" for it. If worst comes to worst, just e-mail your prof and he/she will sort it out. And grades probably were not updated over the weekend, so I doubt any changes that were made on the 18th would come up until today at least. I wouldn't stress about it until wednesday. I was in a similar situation one quarter, and it all got worked out in the end, so don't worry...
