In college, do the spring and fall terms graduate within the same year? I was confused because if they both start within the same year, would they all graduate together in May? Thanks :)

If a fall-start and spring-start student took the same number of semesters of school without taking any semesters off school, then the spring-start student would graduate a semester later.

However, lots of students do graduate one semester early or (more commonly) late. In addition, some universities’ spring-start admissions allow students to take courses at a community college in the fall before starting at the university; careful course selection at the community college can allow such students to graduate at the same time as the fall-start students.
