Fall Transfer 2011 Transcripts

Yay! Just about everyone’s has loaded. Great news! :-)

kchang87 ,

i was at the same situation too. my transcripts did not load, but i could see a number when i click on resources.

Where is the resource link? Which link did you guys talk about?

usadiscovery, if you go to financial aid status under student finances, there should be a link on the left side that says resources

Hi kchang87, I can’t find resources link on my financial aid status. I can only see Messages (1) and Contact Us. BTW, I am an international student. Thanks :)

hmm i don’t know if it’s different for international students, but on my status page the resources tab is right above messages. sorry that wasn’t much help!

What does the number on the resources page mean? I don’t understand the description. It talks about expected family contribution and such, but I just see something that says “Total Resources” followed by a number (not zero - it’s in the tens of thousands.) Is this how much they expect me to pay? Because it’s a lot. D:

Dang, I read the financial aid page and it looks like that’s how much they expect you to pay. They want my family to pay 37.5% of their yearly income, and my family is not even helping me with school.

Oh well, I’ll figure something out.

I guess it’s good if you have a $0 then, because I think that’s how much they expect you to pay.

All hope is not lost if you haven’t had any loading transcripts or a letter yet.

Unfortunately if you apply into a specific college like I did (College of Built Environments) they will not make a decision on UW admittance until they are told whether or not you are accepted into your major or minor. I’m turning my portfolio/application in to the CBE this Friday so I won’t hear anything from UW for another few weeks.

Just letting you all know.

Good luck!

Still nothing on mine. I think it will take them couple days to upload the transcripts. Praying

i auditioned in February for the school of music and heard back less than a month later that i had been accepted, so i’m hoping that that helps my chances at least a little. i’m just getting so anxious to have my transcript load after hearing about everyone else, especially as a music major, because i can’t take any classes that are relevant to my major at a community college.

杯具啊杯具,工程的孩子们几乎木有看到被录的。这到底是神马情况呀?

My transcript loaded, but I noticed that under ‘transfer credits’ it has a 0. Should I be worried? Shouldn’t that be the number of transfer credits I have coming in? It does mark me as a Junior…

What is the proof that just having the unofficial transcript upload shows we got in?

@palemilkusa: I think everyone’s is like that right now.

There’s no solid proof, but almost everyone who’s had their unofficial transcript load has gotten into UW. There are only a couple of cases where a glitch caused the transcripts to load and the students were still rejected. The thing is, UW isn’t going to bother giving you a transcript and assigning you a student ID number if they’re just going to reject you, so that’s why it’s a sign that you’re accepted.

I can’t load it right now neither and it makes me so stressed. I m an international student. Many friends of mine already got the letters from UW last Saturday, but i m still waiting for it. I hope there will be another round to send the letters. Maybe this Friday. haha…

@ palemilktea and anyone else who is wondering: An update on the transfer credits issue.

I was looking at the Welcome website and it says that they won’t update your transfer credits until after they receive your $272 conformation deposit. So no worries; you’re not supposed to have the credits up yet. :)

@Angela. Mine haven’t loaded either. Many of my friends who has high GPA like 3.8 also did not hear anything yet; so I wouldn’t worry it about too much. Last year, some students did not hear back until Mid-July!(I know it’s ridiculous). Just be patience for now. P.S It seems UW is admitting more international students this year, so you are in good shape.

@Allen89. Thank you so much! You made me much better now. Yep, I also have a high GPA. So I hope I can get the admission soon and the same to you. I found that maybe the next admission letters will be sent this Friday. lol… Hope we can get it! haha~~

@angela12242522. How did you find out the letters will be sent this friday?
My friend got her acceptance letter yesterday and I’ve been checking my
unofficial transcript and it’s still not loading. Hopefully I get it soon…

@cjwm. I just checked so many replies and most of them get their unofficial load during Wednesday to Friday. My friends’ postal stamp is on June 17th no matter accepted or rejected. Yesterday I called admission office and ask them why i still didn’t get reply, and she told me that they will be doing until July. I hope we can get the decision soon!!

@angela. Oh I see. Thank you for the information.
I don’t know why they have to take such a long time. I guess we’ll just
have to be patient. I hope both of us get in! Good luck.
