Fall Transfer 2012 decisions out?

I've been getting so anxious reading about other people who were already accepted as early as April. What do people mean when they say their unofficial transcript loaded? And are people just hearing back early because they applied for transfer directly into their major? I applied for general admission transfer so I don't know how those acceptances/rejections are handled in comparison to direct transfers. I'm on the more unlikely side for acceptance but I'm trying to keep the hope alive!

I recommend you to read the forum. The questions you are asking have been discussed here numerous times. And there is also a thread called “Fall 2012 Transfers”.

I have been reading through the forums but they did not really answer my questions. Most people replying seem to be transferring directly into their major and so far I haven’t seen information on the unofficial transcript issue other than that some people have had theirs load and others have not.

“Unofficial transcript loaded” - when go to MyUW, and click on “unofficial transcript” (https://sdb.admin.washington.edu/students/uwnetid/unofficial.asp</a>), there would be either an error or your unofficial transcript, which indicates your class standing and major. There would be nothing else except this (no evaluated and transferred credits).
If there is no error and you can see your class standing - 95% you are in and the letter is on the way.

Yes, people who have heard back are mainly those who applied into competitive majors.
The deadline for notification of those who applied for general admission is 10 days away.

Thank you very much for the information!
