Fall transfer 2015?

<p>Hello.</p>

<p>I'm currently a freshman at the University of Houston. I'm currently enrolled in 15 hours and I will be taking 19 credit hours next semester so I'll have 34 credit hours in total by the end of this current academic year. I was looking at the transfer requirements for TAMU and it says 24 transferable work by the time I get admitted. </p>

<p>Can I still apply for fall2015 since I will have more than 24 hours by the time fall 2015 starts or do I have to wait until spring 2016 to apply?</p>

<p>That will depend on your major. Transfers are admitted by their departments, they have different requirements & some have specific courses that must be completed to be considered for transfer. The 24 hour minimum is university wide, then they pass on your application to your dept that has its own criteria & has the final say. <p>You can still apply, but more than likely they will want you to send in your spring grades before they make a decision. Hope this helps!</p>
