Fall Transfer Admission Revoked??

My conditions says “You must complete CHM2210, CHM2210L, and MAC2311 with minimum grades of “B””
I know I got a least a B in CHM2210L and MAC2311 but I got a C for CHM2210 as a final grade. Which is very disappointing because UF is my dream school. Do you think they we’ll revoke my admission or is there something I can do such as retake the class during the summer for a better grade since my admissions is for fall. I need some advice here please!

You need to immediately reach out to the UF college that admitted you and ask.

@Melissa96 okay I’ll do that

@RawMayo Any updates on the situation? Did they give you a response?

@Redbird987 No response from them yet.

@RawMayo - if your petition was to CLAS - they only meet once a week

Update: At 10:24am today, they got my email and have forward it to the Transfer Appeal Committee for review.

Update: after a few emails later, here is the last email:

Thank you for your email. We were able to review your transcripts and your admission can be upheld with the C grade in CHM2210. Please be sure to still send in an official copy to the Admission Office.

Sincerely,

Transfer Appeals Committee

Hello so i am also in the same situation as i was accepted for fall 2017 with my conditions to receive a B in mac2311 a B in mac2312 or higher grade and the AA. so i recived the AA received a B in mac2311 but unfortunately i received a C in mac2312. i did go threw a family death actually two family deaths and a lot of stress because of the family tragedy. so the summer semester was a huge blur any pointers on how you got your admission upheld?? i already picked classes for fall 2017,paid for housing,received my UF ID,paid for UF meal plan and paid for UF health insurance. Do you think they will revoke my acceptance only because of one C in the last conditioned class???

@UFmoe17 I don’t have any pointers on how my admission got upheld. All I did was email them asking if the C would revoke my admission. They asked for a copy of my spring term grades and they made a decision from that I’m guessing. There was no special circumstances such as a death (my condolences to you and your family) or medical condition that had occurred. I got my AA, ended with a 3.5 gpa and only two C’s in all my classes, one of them being a condition from the original post. You should email the college you were admitted to and tell them about your situation. I doubt they will revoke your admission since you were in a situation where you have a reason for that grade. Hope it turns out for the best!!

@RawMayo thank you and hopefully not I sent my official transcripts and they revived it so they will probrally look at that when deciding if they will upheld my admissions. The semester starts the 21st hopefully they have enough time to decide they did put a hold yesterday on my classes hopefully that’s just protocol. I have a 3.4 pre prof and 3.6 overall

@RawMayo you should contact your college right away. You do NOT want to enroll without their okay. The penalties are quite substantial.

@Melissa96 the advisors and myself registered for classes during orientation…there was no way on my mind or my UF advisor that I will Get a C in mac2312 but the impossible happens I guess. The penalties including what to be exact if the clas advisors are the one to enroll me in the classes??

The advisers don’t get to make the decision. You need to contact the dean’s office. Penalties for attending UF under false pretenses include - revoking your admission thus any credits you are enrolled in cannot count towards your degree, no financial aid, having to pay out of pocket for all of your classes, having to petition to even have another application to UF considered for a future semester.
