Special Circumstances
I was diagnosed with clinical depression at the beginning of my junior year in high school from a combination of stress and the death of an extremely close family member. After countless prescriptions of Xanax failed, my condition only got worse as time went on, leading to a severe drop in academic performance (had straight As until mental downward spiral). However, my most recent trip to Africa showed me how privileged I was to be living my kind of life and made this condition a non-issue. Presently, I am back on track academically and am more mentally stable than I ever was.

Thanks for your input everybody.

Bump…
