Fall12, any progress in application?

@BeachHouse, you’re not the only one. I’m still at application received. Im still waiting for pomona, long beach, fullerton and san marcos. Got into SFSU and Northridge but rejected from SDSU.

@soleilvie

CONGRATS :)

Still stuck on referred to impacted plan, however I did receive an e-mail today saying the following:

"Dear -my name here-

Your admission application for Fall 2012 has been reviewed, and the following official documents and/or information are needed to enable us to determine your admission eligibility:

Final College Transcript

Please submit the above official documents and/or information as soon as available, so that we can continue to process your application. If you have recently submitted the requested official documents and/or information, please do not resubmit as these will be processed shortly. If you have completed coursework at a college that is not listed above, and have not yet submitted an official transcript, please submit the transcript(s) as soon as available."

I honestly don’t know what to think right now, but I’m guessing they won’t make a decision until I finish this semester and have the final grades. If that’s the case, it’s going to be a long while before I actually find out I’m admitted T_T, and that is if I actually do well this semester. I honestly regret taking 21 units and I may possibly be looking at a 3.4 for this semester, bringing my overall GPA to 3.6 :|

@rose i was also rejected from sdsu but wait listed for UCSD haha. I got wait listed for csulb too

i hate this wait

@italianpnoy112

Thank you!

Now, that sounds really odd to me. From what I understand, impacted plans require you to have courses completed by the Fall before the quarter you plan to attend (i.e. if you’re planning to attend Fall 2012, prerequisites for the impacted major must be completed by Fall 2011). That’s how it was for me. I don’t get why they would have to wait to see your Spring grades because they should be determining your elligibility based on everything you’ve completed up to Fall 2011. At least they could provisionally admit you THEN request final transcripts. What if your semester doesn’t end until June?!

@italianpnoy112

That really does sound weird. If they’re waiting to make their decision based on your final transcripts then that should be a provisional admit. I would call admissions on monday and find out what’s going on, if admissions can’t tell you anything, then call the architecture department.

I am currently still under the status of “Application Received.”
Should I be worried? I haven’t received any notifications either.

@mesflower
im in the same situation, , r u a transfer or freshmen?

@wjs;
I am a freshmen. I will be calling them tomorrow since the phone lines are off on weekends.

I’m a transfer student, 3.68 GPA for chemical engineering and still haven’t received word yet if I’ve been admitted. I’ve heard from all other cal states except CPP … do you guys think this is a bad sign?

Up until about a week and a half ago it still said they hadn’t received all my official transcripts from various CCs. I know I sent them on time, and I called repeatedly to confirm if they had been received but they kept saying they were “processing.” Finally, I got a hold of someone who said she would clear it up herself, and within a few days the “send transcript” stuff went off my “to do” list. Do you think because it took a while to process my transcripts, they haven’t been able to review my admissions yet?

The process takes forever. I’m not sure why it takes so much longer at CPP than other CSU’s, but it does. Take a look at older threads on this board and you’ll see people from years past *****ing about not hearing anything from admissions in MAY.

Last I heard when I called the Bio department last week was that they should have all admission decisions out by May 15th… so there’s still some waiting to be done

Wow! That’s a really long time … and rather unfortunate too, because some of my back up colleges want me to commit to attend by May 1st …

But thanks for the reassurance.

Really? I called them today and they said that they are still processing the applications. They also told me the date that everything should be done which was April 16th. Well, at least I know that it wasn’t anything that I was missing or doing wrong. I definitely feel reassured as well. CPP Y U TAKE SO LONG?!?

Got accepted! See everyone else there!

Congrats msflower!!! :)

Did anyone pay their admission deposit yet? I received an E-mail saying the deposit needed to be paid by May 1st but there’s no hyperlink in the e-mail telling you where you’re supposed to pay for the deposit.

Regardless, I’m probably waiting till April 29~30th to pay my deposit to confirm my admission since I’m still waiting to hear from USC. USC Y U TAKE LONGER -_-

In order to pay your admission deposit and housing fee, you need to log into bronco direct and go to make payment screen.

@iamellyn
Have you at least been contacted about the supplemental application? I’m also going into Chem E and I haven’t been contacted about it. . .

@Tenseig4 Some other engineering applicants like me also were never contacted about the supplement. I applied for computer engineering.

I was contacted for the supplement for Civil Engineering, but they never got back to me

I did the supplemental app for civil engineering too. They never sent me a confirmation or anything after I submitted it. I just randomly got an email one day saying I was accepted.

I have not yet heard of anything yet either.
Applied for Aerospace Engineering, freshman.

Still Application Received/Application is complete.
