there is a thread in the Parent Forum called "Is it really worth $250,000" where you may be interested in commenting

I thought this thread was going to be a “Happy Birthday” FC thread…so disappointed…

I thought it was going to be thanking him for everything and wishing him happy birthday… Well… we still can make it like that! haha

i thought we already did that

When I grow up I want to be just like FC. :)

Thanks for the heads up on the thread, muddybubbles. I’ll take a look, sounds interesting. As soon as I recover from my celebration hangover that is. LOL, kidding, I am actually away on business so my bday celebration is delayed until the weekend.

Fallenchemist is a guy??? wow, didn’t realize…happy belated birthday, FC

Thanks First. Just curious, what made you think otherwise? Will I be sorry I asked?

Haha! My first impression was that you were a guy. Then after reading many posts, I don’t even know what made me start doubting myself. But after seeing your real name, I’m sure that you are a guy again! haha

LOL, np. I make lots of assumptions about the gender of people on here and I have been only 50-50, so it is hard to tell many times.

Do i seem like a girl or a guy?

okay, this will be sexist, but moms seemed to be so much more involved in the college thing and you are very involved here…

I actually agree, sexist or not. The exception that proves the rule? Something like that, lol. Actually what got me so involved was, as a Tulane alum and now parent, it just drove me nuts that there was so much misinformation being bandied about regarding Tulane. That led to giving some observations and advice, which got positive feedback (with some notable exceptions many of us remember all too well, lol) and I was hooked.

BTW First, East Greenwich here, to carry over from the other thread.

Guheng, I did always think you were a guy, so I got that one right.

My Mom was at St. Elizabeth’s Home in EG for 14 months until her death last fall. I know EG, believe me. Cafe Fresco on Main Street is a favorite.
