If you have not already written your personal essay, I would recommend crafting one that addresses the issue of the challenges involved with juggling school and caring for a child. There is potentially a good essay there filled with frustration, humor, and pride. I’d be happy to help you edit it if you PM me.</p>
<p>BTW… outside of yearbook (which was an actual class), my daughter did not participate in any ECs in high school. She is now a sophomore at our state’s flagship school. She takes a full load and works 20+ hours a week. It turns out that to be a successful student you need to do shockingly ordinary things: show up to class, set a study schedule for yourself and turn your work in on time. Who knew?</p>
