I just looked at the supplement.
Who are other 2014 students using?
Any suggestions??

The prompt:
If you had the opportunity to
spend one day in New York City
with a famous New Yorker, who
would it be and what would you
do? (Your New Yorker can be
anyone—past or present, fictional
or nonfictional—who is commonly
associated with New York City;
they do not necessarily have to
have been born and raised in
New York.)

Oh, I wish that would’ve been my prompt. I would’ve written about the unnamed protagonist from Jay McInerney’s novel, “Bright Lights, Big City”.

Why are you asking us for suggestions, organic? Write about someone you’d actually think it would be cool to meet and try not to go for something 90% of students will go for (for my supplement we had to “sing” a certain song in a talent show, and I remember one of the people from NYU said that a whole bunch of people used these two/three certain songs I don’t remember, and they tried to emphasize doing something original). NYC is a big place so I’m sure you can find someone interesting. :)

Just out of curiosity. I wouldn’t dare using something if I knew someone else was going to use it too. It screws both of us
I have an idea but it may be one of the typical ones.

Any current NYU students mind if I PM you my choice?? Just to see if you think its good.
I don’t want it to be stolen- even though I don’t think it’s very original.

I wish we had this question. D: I thought I would pick Bella Abzug but after looking at the list that missamericanpie posted, I’d have to go with Clara Bow.
