<p>I'm planning on applying to Cal, Stanford, UCLA, UCSD, and ... Harvard (cue laugh track.) What are my chances? I really want to stay in California and am wondering what options I have for safety schools if I want to major in biology. Thanks a lot!</p>

<p>If you retake the SAT Reasoning (and score higher), you have a much better chance at Stanford/Harvard. Anything below a 650 will put you at a disadvantage at those schools. best of luck!</p>

<p>Thank you so much for your feedback! Reading late-night forum posts is what summer's all about. A few of my friends who just graduated gave me the same advice about retaking the SAT Reasoning Test. I hope they still have room at my school on one of the fall testing days.</p>
