MESSAGE FROM COLLEGE MOM:
BESIDES THE FAQ LINK WHICH IS A VERY HELPFUL PLACE TO START, IT IS SUGGESTED THAT THOSE NEW TO THE MUSICAL THEATER FORUM GO BACK AND READ THE MANY THREADS AND TOPICS ON THIS FORUM TO GLEAN AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE. AS WELL, IF THERE IS ALREADY A THREAD ON A TOPIC, TRY TO CONTINUE THAT THREAD, RATHER THAN START A NEW ONE ON THE VERY SAME TOPIC. THANK YOU AND ENJOY THE MT FORUM!

Also, for those looking for how to get to the Big List of MT Colleges, if you go to the link posted here of FAQ, you will see a link on that page for "The Big List" which is a compilation of schools by state that offer Musical Theater.

A little 2008 side note :): some of the information has become a bit dated and so use this info as a starting point, and then check on the related college website if the information you are looking for is still current.

For example, somewhere on FAQ/MT website it still says that NYU MT auditions have an optional dance audition component, whereas they did away with that. My guess is there may be other tidbits of info like that.

Enjoy reading all the information though, it is a great resource, and most definitely made me feel like I had an "MT colored Wikipedia" to go to during this unusual college application process.

I am not the only one who has requested/suggested that Millikin be added to the MT Forum list...Is anyone listening or can anyone help? I can't find it in the FAQ's, but maybe somebody will read this and help--- I have emailed/ pm'd some who post regularly and seem to be in the know about everything as well as some of the moderators, but I have not gotten a response...

I had already requested a sub forum be created for Millikin in the MT Forum. I do not hold the tools to do that. Only Roger Dooley does. It took a very long time to get the other sub forums I had requested to be added. It is really beyond my control. Please know that I have done all I can to request this school be added as well. I hope there is follow through and in a timely fashion. Roger has my request. He is the one who can add forums. If you feel a need to contact him directly, feel free to give that a try. I wish I could take care of this myself, but I can't.

Thank you for trying! And for responding!! Exactly how would I go about contacting Roger Dooley myself? Feel free to PM me if you prefer. Thanks again-

You can contact Roger the way you contact any member. If you click on his member name which is: Roger_Dooley, you can go to a link to either PM or email him. You can do that if you wish but I am not sure the difference it will make. My request is already into him and has gone through the owners of CC. I just can't promise you the follow through as it is out of my hands, although, as always, I follow through on my end and keep trying. If you wish to send another request on your own, do so, but I know he already has my request as it has gone through the highest levels at CC.
