<p>I'm looking at living in Far West next year and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on decent apartments in that area (has to be on the shuttle route, obviously). I'm not looking to sign anything yet, but I got a notice from my realtor today saying that I need to confirm whether or not I'll be renewing my lease so they can start showing my place for fall 2012 pre-leasing (ugh). </p>
<p>I've looked a bit online and all of the complexes in Far West have awful or mediocre reviews (old, falling apart, horrible management, bedbugs, etc). The prices seem SO much cheaper than the campus area, though ($740 for 750 sq. ft.???? i'm currently paying that much for a less than 400 square foot efficiency in North Campus), and I'd rather live cheaply there than on Riverside. </p>
<p>Also, any other recommendations on nice, relatively cheap areas to live away from campus but on the shuttle route? Thanks!</p>
