Today I received my scholarship bundle from the university of Alabama containingmy ACT award as well as engineering award. I was wondering if anyone knows when I will be recieving a number from FASFA or the other scholarships I applied for from the university.
On the mybama portal it says financial information will be ready to accept march 20
First, It’s FAFSA, not FASFA. Second, what number are you waiting for? Pell grant? Your Pell grant estimate was on the confirmation letter you received when you submitted your FAFSA. Student loans? Those are the same for everyone, depending on whether you’re a freshman, sophomore, etc. For a freshman, the cap is $5,500 (or more if your parent applies for, but is denied, a PLUS loan). Those figures are readily available online.
That leaves work study, and for that, you’re correct - you will have to wait until UA’s financial aid office puts those numbers together.
