hm... well, i think i'll have to do some serious thinking between now and feb. 1st (which is when i have to turn in my deposit to northwestern). until then... thanx to those who've offered their advice and listened to my complaining! i'll have to think about what's really important to me...

Do fashion design, I am. If you want fashion design consider The Best which ar Parsons and FIT, also OTIS(it's in Los Angeles and is fantastic in my opinion)

Well I just saw that you applied ED to Northwestern. How do you plan on getting out of it to go into fashion, if you chose to do so?

Well one option, since your already in at Northwestern and have a good financial aid package, is you can try to change your major to something like Costume Design(if they have that under their Theatre program) or something like Studio Art where you can better learn to draw etc which would all help you in a design field. I'm pretty sure there's a junior college near Northwester were you can take fashion courses and still get the best of both worlds, which are fashion and a great education at Northwestern.

Communications/Marketing would be another major that could link to fashion design that you could study at northwestern.

oh man, that is so cool!! i didn't even know nu had such an option... thanx!! and if i did wanna get out nu ED, then all i'd have to do is apply to another school, and that would waive the contract i signed... kinda harsh, but whatever works i guess ;). so, again thank you even if i do stick to engineering, i could always minor in integrated arts...

JULIE! I didn't know you wanted to be a fashion designer! I always wanted to be a wedding dress designer but sorta gave up cause i can't draw LOL
