Who here loves fashion but likes to study hard? Its a weird combination but CCers are overachievers. Haha..

internet-soul sister!

wait, i just re-read that. i don’t like to study, per se…i just like to do as well as i possibly can. but that is possibly the closest you’ll get on this site in regards to that combination, anyways, lol.

but, i do love fashion :]

Hey, soul-sister. Haha… I was just wondering if there are any people like me on CC. Yay!!

I love fashion and design but yeah… not a super-over-achiever either. Well… lets say that we love to study fashion :)

I love fashion. A lot.
They recently opened a Top Shop where I live and I nearly 'gasmed.
Studying…eh, it’s okay. I don’t love it though.

“Fashion is an ugliness so hideous that we must change it every six months”
-Oscar Wilde

^lol, cute.

OMG, topshop…i would DIE. granted, i don’t actually have anything from there, but i browse their online site for freaking fun, okay? lol. a few months ago, urban outfitters opened up about 20 minutes from me !

^ Haha Urban Outfitters is one of the few “designer” casual clothing stores I can stand (that being said I LOVE MR. SID). I love their T-shirts… their comfy and embrace my nerdiness (I bought NASA and Where the Wild Things Are T-Shirts from them last time I went) while still being “cool”

Fashion is great and all … except when you’re saving up for college. Then, it’s painful, and not just because of 4 inch BCBG heels I got. But UO sales are the best! Nothing feels better than getting a $190 dress for $9.99. I love living in a uber-big mall town. If a Topshop opened near me, I would die happy, and my parents’ credit score would tank.

I love fashion. But I definitely don’t study hard. =/

I’m probably going to sound really shallow for saying this, but one of my biggest fears next year as a college freshman is not having enough money to buy clothes. I don’t want to bug my parents for too much cash, because they’ll be paying thousands of bucks for me to go to school. Time to get a job!

I also want to take my whole wardrobe with me to school, but I don’t think that’ll be feasible.

Hahaa whoaa. I browse Topshop for funn all the time. Too bad the only store is in NY, and online shopping sucks because the sizes always are bigger than I expected. -_-

And Urban Outfitters is amazingg. omg. I love that store. And yes amazing sales. It’s not really “designer” so to say, but it definitely has loads of cute stuff. Also I also adore H&M. But, Forever 21 looks a little too cheap for my taste.

And just btw: [The Sartorialist](http://thesartorialist.blogspot.com/) is an amazing place for inspiration.

Yes, having a Top Shop here is awesome…they now have a lot of my money.
But I have a lot of their clothes in exchange, so it’s cool lol.
The good/bad (depending how you look at it) is that Top Shop is in SoHo and the block it’s on, or near, is packed with other stores like Bebe, BCBG, Anthropologie, so then I end up in every other store too even if I meant to only hit Top Shop.

I’m also a Free People addict. I absolutely love Free People.

h&m has some really great finds. <3 the sartorialist…it’s addicting. free people has gorgeous stuff, but it’s a little expensive for my liking & i used to LOVE forever 21…but, recently, their stuff has gotten sooo cheap-looking. the last few times i walked in to the one in the mall i was like, okay, i don’t need hooker clothes…-_-

&, yeah, i will feel bad asking my parents for money next year in college. but there’s an UO RIGHT BUY my school, so, like…sorry mom & dad :)

Oscar wilde is my hero

^ I know between Oscar Wilde and Winston Churchill, there’s a witty quote for pretty much every situation imaginable! Love the British quick wit… Going to miss that next year :(

seriously, they’re amazingg
well maybe you shouldnt leave?
i still cant believe youre leaving england, maybe we should switch places? i go to england and you come to canada?

^ I already sent in my letter accepting their offer. It’ll be odd, but after 4 years as of right now I plan to go back.

oh fine. i guess im stuck in ottawa then.

fashion, people, fashion. does anyone have a closet so stuffed-full with clothes that clothes actually because lost/invisible in-between other clothes? i have so much shiz, & i don’t even wear half of it. it’s really bad how fast i get bored of my pre-existing clothes.

^ Yes, right there with you!

I feel like I have nothing to wear and then I go shopping for more stuff, only to find myself attracted to things that look identical to what I already own. Sucks :/
