How do people dress at UCSD?
Is it college stereotype and everyone is in sweatpants and t-shirts?
Or do people dress the latest trends?

Good news everyone! You’ve all finally gotten past the point where people actually care about what you’re wearing (high school). So pretty much, you can wear whatever you’re comfortable in.

^hah, exactly what i thought

but i would rather look GEWD than look lazy. :P

Dress well everyday, it makes a good impression on people!

@KingsElite:

Dr. Zoidberg: How do I look?
Bender: Like whale barf.
Dr. Zoidberg: Then the illusion is complete.

At first, a lot of people will still be in that -fashion- mode during the beginning of the year. Everyone will dress to impress at first just to make a good impression on people. But as the year goes on, people will have their lazy days where they’ll just sit in sweats and a baggy sweatshirt and realize that no one really cares about what they wear. And thus… you start seeing people wearing basketball shorts to class or people that look like they just woke up sitting next to you! :smiley: Or at least, that’s what happened to me.

Woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo!

@xpenguin

Ha ha. That’s actually 100% the truth.

@xpenguin… That was most definitely me. B/c of my roommate, I would never get good sleep at night and I would end up sleeping in every day till about 5 minutes before my class.

I dressed in slacks with a shirt and tie everyday for work–there’s no way I was going to do that while in school. I’d be in basketball shorts and a shirt when I’d be in lab for 6-10 hours a day.
