FAST program competitiveness?

I’m interested in applying to the FAST fly-in program (https://www.hmc.edu/admission/fast/) and was wondering if anyone here has been accepted to the program? I’m an Asian female, not first-gen, so I’m guessing my chances are pretty low - is it worth it to apply?

Also, does anyone know the approximate acceptance rate?

For future reference (since it’s too late to apply now), they recently sent an email were they mentioned that 827 students applied and that there are only 45 spots for each of the two weekends.

Yup I got that email too! Not expecting an acceptance but oh well, at least I was motivated to write an essay for college apps!
