Okay, so who has the fastest time in getting through AMSCO? Hahah, how many days (or hours if you're a maniac) did it take you to get through it? And did you really read every word or just skim it? do you feel like you retained the information well? Lol, i'm asking this because I think I'm about to embark on a journey of trying to read it super quick ><

took me about 5 days to read the whole thing. but i spent loads of time on it, like 6 hours a day. i read every word too, except the last chapter of clinton, which doeesn't mater

wow 30 hours?! this is inspirational for me hahaha. so it IS possible for me to try to finish reading it that quickly. hooray! (:

lol. taking 30 hours to cram a book down.
thats amazing.

but ask yourself, will you remember everything?
lol

actually its more of a question of: will you remember ANYTHING? lol

actually, i read through the book twice. and yes i remebered everything and did all the questions at the end of the chapter. got me a 750 on SAT US History

^ how do you remember that teeny lil details especially when whipping through the book so quickly lol...i mean i'm reading kaplans right now and damn as soon as i turn the next page i already forgotten most of the tiny details

omg wait, so did it take you 30 hours to get through AMSCO twice?! or once?! either way, it's insane hahahah. so far, i've only finished reading four chapters... )))): only 26 more to go!

i read amsco in three days for the AP exam. basically, don't do the m/c questions, and look stuff up in your APUSH textbook if you don't remember...pictures really help!

is AMSCO enough for the SAT II though?? or are there random questions about native americans on the test ??

Well no, it was 30 hours for one time. But the reason I did well was because I had two years of AP US History, and the AMSCO was basically review from last year's stuff and refresh of this year.

I really think that is all you need. I didn't go over any of my class notes for the SAT II exam, and I just read AMSCO in detail making sure I understood everything. Hey, it worked out.

And trust me, I'm no genius like the other people on these boards.

^ you had TWO years of APUSH?!

and amsco is seriously a lifesaver. there was stuff that we had never talked about in apush on the ap test, and just because i flipped through a section and remembered little details i got the answers right!

yea, in my school you must have 2 years of history, so APUSH was split into 2 years for us.

hahahahah i am not up to chapter 9 -_____- i am so screwed! i have two concurrent projects that require a lot of time. omg, i hope i can finish... and even if i do finish, i might not have time to take practice tests! aghhhhhhhh sakdhfjksadhfkjsad!!!!

im only on chapta 20

mamamia
