<p>Has anyone here successfully received a scholarship from Fastweb? If so, how did the process work for you?</p>
<p>FAstweb did not work well, at all, for our two students. One of ours did much better applying for local scholarships. Good luck!</p>
<p>I’ve been applying for some scholarships that I found through Fastweb lately, but most of them either don’t apply to me at all or are extremely easy to apply for (therefore it’s highly likely that there are tons of candidates). If you find some on Fastweb that fit you and aren’t too time consuming (no essay, very short essay, etc.), then I would say you might as well apply. For any in-depth ones (multiple essays, multiple rec letters, etc.), consider what the scholarship is based on and how likely you are to receive it, and compare that against how much you could get.</p>
<p>Even though there are lots of scholarships on scholarship sites like Fastweb, don’t forget to check the guidance office at your school (or wherever else your school files scholarship app forms) as well as maybe even your state’s department of education site (especially if you plan to stay in the same state for your college).</p>
