Fatal Spring Break Accident Involving Car Full of BGSU Students

<p>If she was working the night shift she could have possibly suffering from sleep deprivation. It can have the same effects as alcohol. The facts as the public knows them are that she was 69, she was going the wrong way on a divided highway, signage seemed appropriate, and she was working a late shift. Until something else comes to light, speculating she was drunk, sleep deprived or “old” is just that, speculation.</p>

It’s a judgment issue but the judgment can be clouded by all of the reasons ‘nrdsb4’ mentions. Various mixtures of legal drugs that have interactions, illegal drugs, and medical conditions can cause a person to not think or process clearly.</p>

<p>Regardless of the reason for the wrong way driving…this is so heartbreaking. I wonder how the two girls in the hospital are doing.</p>
